Nailsworth Town Council landed a £45,000 Award to carry out improvements to the King George V Playing Fields in Nailsworth
At the 2015 Fields in Trust 90th Anniversary Awards Ceremony held at Lords Cricket Ground in London in December, the Mayor of Nailsworth, Liberal Democrat Myles Robinson and Councillor Sally Thorpe were delighted to accept this much needed support for outdoor facilities.
Fields in Trust was previously known as the National Playing Fields Association and supports over 2,500 open space facilities throughout the United Kingdom.
